The box is roughly 2' high and around 1' wide - recessed in the base is a piece of 1" plywood used as a skid plate to preserve the floor.

Finished Box
A while ago I welded some pieces for a friend at Olympic College. She just sent me photos of what she did with one of them, so I thought I would share. In this project I welded the Mild Steel box than sent it off , the finish and wood depicted is her ideas put to the box and I think it looks great !
